ADHDers also stim, but it more often looks like tapping fingers and toes, picking apart a polystyrene coffee cup, listening to songs over and over again on repeat, watching the same film over and over, running your fingers along a wall as you pass, humming or tapping the tips of your fingers together.

While both ADHDers and autistic people stim for many of the same reasons, it's only part of the diagnostic criteria for autism.
