Did you feel alienated reading that? Why? I only read it as one person's experiences. Perhaps it's easier for me as a foreigner: I didn't recognise much in terms of the way I was brought up or the experiences I've seen, but I have marvelled at black hair and probably done the arm comparison thing. I don't know what to say right now, so I'm mostly just reading and learning.
