I’m very much hoping that the glimmer of hope in this darkened world will be a return to Keynesian-style interventions, AKA The Government Doing Its Job.

Look to Germany for an example of a fairly taxed, thriving economy with the appropriate social safety nets.

Pitching it as Capitalism vs Communism is a false choice. Most of the developed world knows this.

Also, there’s only one way to resolve the debts that covid-19 will incur, and that’s through (planned) inflation.

So, yes, unionize, raise minimum wages, collect taxes and enforce competition laws (no corporation should be bigger than most countries!).

Let businesses and economic policies serve the people (not vice versa).
