In a building with a hangar-sized dining hall, I like to mix up who I have lunch with. Sometimes I schedule lunch with favourite colleagues in advance, but normally I just see who’s just down there.
We laugh, socialise, bond, gossip and share ideas … but more often than not, the conversation drifts back to work, and some problem that one of us has, and we all put our heads together while we eat and come up with a solution.
Definitely more productive than sadly picking crumbs out of my keyboard.
