It's not wildly dissimilar to a traditional English breakfast of bubble & squeak (potato, cabbage and onion), eggs and/or smoked fish, and baked beans - usually reserved for special occasions. A Full English adds sausages and bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms.
I also love eggs florentine (slices of bread-muffin topped with poached egg, bacon, spinach and hollandaise sauce). I think that's an American invention, though it feels very French.
Elsewhere in Europe, toast with ham and cheese is popular, particular with Scandinavians. I find that mix of carbs and protein strikes the right balance, though I usually swap out the ham for an egg.
