One of the things that got us through the past year is routines. Now we don't have to commute, we get up later, but I still set the alarm for 7.15 each morning, and head straight down to make the tea.
Bedtime is less strictly enforced than before, but it's still lights out by 8.45 with no exceptions (not even for Fortnite).
What that does is create space for each of us, even cooped up under one roof. My husband is usually awake before us, and I stay up the latest. We have time alone to do what we want and be ourselves - and that, I have found, keeps the tempers from flaring.
