There is a place for companies like Fiverr — namely, for quick and scrappy work.

A fair scenario might be an early-stage, broke startup founder wanting a quick sketch to illustrate an idea, and paying £15 to an inexperienced art student, who takes less than an hour to do the work (including sending it over).

Nobody expects perfection. It’s fast, cheap and cheerful — as removed from agency design work as a lemonade stand is from tea at The Ritz.

Wouldn’t use it for a logo, though!
